Today there was a bit about the “germiest places”. One place that is always over looked, but should be on the list is “Church pews”, especially the top handrail portion. I think they should be wiped with a disinfectant cloth after every service. Do you agree? Eugene

What was the name of that recipe book and author? I was in doctor’s office and did not catch it all. I think I would like to try it. The info would be great.
i cannot believe mike and tere miller left a handicapped person in her home and did not break a window to get her out. instead called 911 and took a chance that ems workers might get to her in time. i would be embarrassed and ashamed to tell this story on national television. am i the only one that feels this way? or did i miss a piece of their story and they were in fear for losing their own lives and could not take extra time to help this person?
I just wanted to pass on to the many victims of the California fires an excellent book entitled “The Disaster Recovery Handbook”. It was written by people who sufferred from the Oakland California blaze. The book appears in an article written in today’s Orange County Register in the Marketplace section. Their website is OCregister.com . I hope this can help in some way.
I am an avid Today Show watcher. I have a sister in the San Diego County area and she and her husband, two daughters, cat and dog had to leave their home on Monday and they are desperate to find out where the FIRELINE is in San Diego County and what the road access is on I-5. They received the reverse 911 calls Monday afternoon. They live in Encinitas in an area called Village Park. Two areas behind them had houses burning on Monday, Rancho Santa Fe and Oliviahen (sp). They are staying at a hotel in Testin in Orange County. They are not getting this info from the LA news stations and I have been doing alot of communicating with them as to the conditions. but I am frustrated as well because I know it is probably the local news stations responsibilities. They cannot get the San Diego stations where they are. It would be soooooo helpful for so many people that can’t get to their homes and are relying on the national news for this information. My sister said she has talked to a few of her friends from their area and they are frustrated as well. The stories about the individuals losing their homes are necessary and so sad, but please give us some meat, like actual subdivisions in certain areas or streets and what road access is. My sister said there is burning at Camp Pendleton so she is very worried about access on I-5?
Thanks so much for your help! I love the TODAY SHOW!
(Concerned sister in Missouri trying to help my sister with info in San Diego)
I want to know more information on the free medicne that you can get. October 23 program on freebies. How can I listen to that program. Canyou send informtionto me?
In reference to the people who went back to their house and fought off the fire in California. I as a Navy Veteran I take my hat off to you. That takes courage, and determination. Two characteristics which are definately non-existant in this country. What happend to the home of the brave? But these people did something extraordinarily brave, without proper training they stood and fought for something they believed and loved. Outstanding job, keep it up. I wish them and their families fair winds and calm seas in all their endeavors.
I just want to find out about the couple that pretty much got
free samples of things on line I guess you called them freebeezz an how can I do the same. Please help me.Thank you
I watch your segment on Breast Cancer and wanted to find out about telling my story as well. Please help me connect to Karen Quest. Life after Breast Cancer. Please email me with any information to bjjs50@bellsouth.net Thank you in advance.
In reference to the stress level of today. Of course stress is higher when Americans have to cut back on food so they can drive to work so they can pay their rent or morgage payments that seem to be on the rise but the paychecks are not. So in order to offset all this why don’t we stay in Iraq at a cost of 3 Billion Dollors a month for another couple of years just to be sure that we really sink this country into poverty.
Good Morning,
I am a daily viewer and love everyone on the show. However, for the first time this morning,(Friday, Oct. 26) I saw Reality Check. The other new additions to your show (the additional hour) are wonderful, however, I would be happy to never see those two women again. They were insulting and rude.

Meredith Vieira normally does an excellent job with “interviews” except at times, will ask a question but won’t let the person complete their reply and will constantly interrupt them. Perfect example was the TODAY SHOW (May 28 ,2008).
hello hoda and kathy,
my story needs to be told. it is a story that started out as a tradegy; but ended up being full of blessings. Due to very irrespondible behavior, i was charged with vehicular homicide. Damn that drinking, but my time in prison along with battling breast cancer at the same time taught me so much. At the time of my incarceration(doing 5 years 11 months and 12 days), along with battling breast cancer. Prior to incarceration i had a masectomy and then was sent to prison. Medical care in prison is not the best; but i fought for the type of care that i would have recieved at home……was it easy….NO ….but after many letters written i did recieve care that was somewhat like being home with my own doctors. i learned that i can survive anything if i believe !
Today i am home, cancer free and more importantly knowing that my time in prison and my battles for good health care IS a blessing. i became an advocate for women in prison who needed health care and did not know how to achieve it. Today i am cancer free and a song would help not only me; but all women in prison throughout this nation and NJ, who need medical care and don’t know how to get it. hope to hear from you soon in hope, Midge
I am looking for the name of the book and or author that wrote about going green due to her son’s health. We watched it but did not write down the name. Also any info on the Freebie stuff, sounds like something worth checking out.THANKS
Thank you Matt for your support today. As the grandmother of an autistic child I can assure you that there is indeed still a “controversy” regarding autism and vaccines.
I have always trusted Nancy Snyderman’s segments. I never will again. I will never watch one again. When the TODAY SHOW has her on I will change the channel.
To use the FEAR TACTIC of “outbreaks” of measles, polio, etc. is unforgivable. Vaccines do not last forever and there have been
vaccines given that were weakened (we were informed years, if not a decade later!) So, yes, we could end up with diseases that we THOUGHT our child had been VACCINATED against!
There are also segments of our countries population who do not allow their followers children to be immunized. Could these “outbreaks” be in these populations? I’m sure if this is so, we won’t be given that little fact.
If she is correct that the problem is because vaccines are given at about the same age that Autism is being diagnosed, here is a solution. Immunizations are mandatory before children can enter school. Therefore they can be given at a later age. They do not need to be given to infants and toddlers.
I trusted Nancy Snyderman. I trust this network to do the right thing. Perhaps it is time to get another medical expert who will be professional enough to not lose control because the interviewer uses a term the “expert” doesn’t agree with.
Thank you for keeping you composure Matt while at the same time trying to explain your comment. Thank you for attempting to defend those of us who do have a controversy with this.
I do apologize to Ms Snyderman if she has been “physically ambushed” because of autism. There again, I have lost trust in what she says so I do questions the validity of this. Why, with such a high profile personality, had we never heard of this before. Surely at least the National Enquire would have heard!
Can anyone give me the recipe for the ” Main Street Crab” dish that was on Friday, Nov. 21st.?? It looked so good. Would like to make it for Thanksgiving.
Asanybody knows it’s hard being ona fixed income. And even harder being overweight. Is itb fair for walmart to charge $2.00 extra for bigger size clothes? It’s the only one I know doing this insulting thing and costly practice. Should’n we have the same prices and cost as smaller folks?
