    Where can I buy the new age water bottles that Natalie was talking to the
    woman about on the show this morning-Mon. Aug.27? The ones for kids in
    the back to school products segment. Thnks so much.

    Where is Merideth??? This is at least the 3rd or 4th week that she has been gone. I didn’t see the 7AM start this AM, but other times Matt has just said Merideth is taking some time off.

    I have just read one where someone states that the show is not as interesting as it was when Katie was on. I respect Katie, but she really was too “cutsie” to do a news show. She can’t use it doing the news on another network and her ratings are not good.

    I am devoted to NBC news. I really am beginning to suspect that Merideth is leaving too. I realize that her other show–Millionaire–is pre recorded, as she has been on that.

    In the 8/27/07 segment about the travel problems a family from California had with their RV, tire failures are usually not the fault of the tire but may be due to old, underinflated, or overloaded tires. I have tire pressure monitors on each of the 6 tires on my travel trailer and will get an alarm in my tow vehicle if one tire loses pressure prior to a catastrophic blowout. The Today Show Travel contributor Peter Greenberg is very misinformed when he stated that a compact spare tire is available for RVs. NOT! Trailer tires and truck tires on the tow vehicle are not available as a compact spare as they are for smaller cars and minivans. According to the date showing on their home video, this event happened 5 yrs. ago and most campgrounds currently enforce rules for quiet times requiring that generators be turned off by 10 PM.

    My Mother and Father will be celebrating their 75th Wedding Anniversary in November 2007. I would like for them to be recognized and also will be glad to send a photograph if I could please get the address and instructions on what to do. My father is 94 and my mother is 93 years of age and still very active. I would appreciate any information that you could give me for this.

    CELL Phones in SCHOOL

    As a college student who was in high school not long ago, I think it’s absolutely fine for cell phones to be banned from school during the school day of a mere 6 or 7 hours. Most peers of a high school student are also in school during those hours of the day and should have the patients to wait until the next class break to communicate with their friends.

    The majority of parents who need to stay in contact with their kids during the school day are what are now being refered to as “helicopter parents” who are hovering over their children- therefore enabling their children from figuring out ways to solve their own carpool or homework issues, becoming responsible students, and becoming independent adults later in life.

    WE HAVE GOT TO STOP GIVING PREFERENCE TO THE NEGATIVE IN THIS WORLD. CHILDREN NO LONGER THINK THEY SHOULD WORK TO BE THEIR BEST, BECAUSE THEY SEEM TO GET ALL THE ATTENTIION THEY COULD HOPE FOR BY NOT BEING AT THEIR BEST.

    IT WOULD NOT SURPRISE ME AT ALL IF THE CHILD AND HER FAMILY DID NOT PLAN THIS TO FURTHER HER CAREER. IT IS A GIVEN FACT AND YOU CONFIRMED IT TODAY, THAT ONE CAN GET FURTHER BY NOT THINKING SMARTER, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE BLONDE HAIR.

    I was expecting to see pix of the rings before voting! Profession of each will determine whether they can wear thier rings. Some people are totally unable to wear rings on the job for safety reasons! And some rings are better & easier to wear anytime. I think I really liked set #1 the most. If this is the way you have the voting set up this year, you are going to spend a lot of time reading thru a lot of mail!

    I was wondering if you guys could do a show on making money at home, you know which of all the advertisments are really real and which should be avoided. there are alot of people who may be interested in this but find it difficult to find one that really does what they say they will do. I watch the show all the time and sure it be helpful.

    I WANTED TO VOTE FOR THE RINGS BUT WAS UNABLE TO BECAUSE YOUR VOITING SITE DID NOT WORK. ALL I COULD GET WERE RESULTS ON ALL THE OLD SHOWS. SURELY THE TODAY SHOW SHOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE THINGS EASY FOR THE VIEWERS. ALSO IF ITS MATT OR MERIDITH , GO FOR MERIDITH

    Thank you for being a professional “GENTLE”-MAN, during the smug Delay interview. Again, they accuse the media of double standards but the GOP continue to DOUBLE-Talk and truly believe that EVERYONE need to accept what they say. A comedian caught by his wife during a sexual act with his mistress, stood up naked, looked his wife in the eyes and said “That wasn’t me!” His wife yelled, “How can you say that when I’m looking at you?” He asked her, “Who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes?” The GOP is very judgemental of everyone but themselves and they request ALL the WORLD to believe what they say and not what they do. THANK YOU FOR SAYING NOT “TODAY” , Mr. Delay!!!

    I’d just like to comment on the interview that Matt (my hero) Lauer did with Tom Delay(d). You go Matt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is an obnoxious, smug, sorry person and I heard every word you said and you were 100% right! Every time the Republicans are in trouble they fall back on the old “when Bill Clinton was President, blah blah balh”. The truth is, the reason that there is no focus on the Democrats is that they don’t pretend to be self-righteous and holier than thou. They’re real people that are vulnerable and fragile and can’t say that they have never…! Republicans pretend to have these really strong convictions but when push comes to shove, how many of the “pro lifers” in the party have paid for a girlfriends’ abortion? Love to be a fly on the wall in one of their hotel rooms! Keep up the good work and hang in there Matt! You are “simply the best” !

    I have been a fan for over 40 years. Lately, I have noticed that after 9:30 a.m. Matt and Meridith are no where to be found. Its disturbing - they get millions of dollars to be hosts of the Today Show and it appears they are giving that responsibility to other unknown ladies to handle the show. What a disappointment! These ladies may be nice, but they act sort of “ditzy” on the air and I can hardly stomach them, so I tune them out and move on to something else. I think if Matt and Meridith are the hosts, they should be there the entire time the show is aired.

    I vote for the family that had the boy who didn’t want to fly and started by train. A lot of the time it seems to me that most of the stories are repeat for days and By using retired or former people in government to talk about what is going on , is like using out of date information, just to keep on talking about the same things. Sometimes I think we grt way to much information.

    Two comments: First, I have greatly enjoyed the America the Beautiful series even though I have missed a few of them. Todays special on Yellowstone National Park was fabulous!!!! PLEASE,could you make dvds available to the public containing all the America the beautiful specials???
    I ESPECIALLY THINK THEY WOULD BE GREAT FOR SCHOOLS TO USE TO EDUCATE THE STUDENTS ABOUT THE USA!!!! Then perhaps, no one would need a map like Ms. New Jersy seems to think would help citizens>

    Oh well, do you have a foundation which could supply the schools with such a valuable resource???? I’m sure just average citizens could pay $1.00 or $2.oo for the disk and then postage to mail. I would love one or even more to share! Perhaps there are other stories worth marketing in this manner. Is it possible for you to check into it and even educate me if you already have such a service? Thanks so much.

    #2 Leona Hemsley, hey, can her dog also give to charity? If they would pay me $25,000.00 a year to rescue animals from shelters and take them to nursing homes, schools, Boys and Girls clubs etc. I would be able to provide a needed service to find housing for the animals, educating the public of the need to care for and spade or neuter the pets, and help cheer alot of people up. Its been proven medically positive for elderly and children to visit with pets. If there is a way to contact her dog about the service I am willing to offer, I could earn a living on less than the interest the dog has inherited from its master. Please send info.

    #3, Sorry, one more item, I saw the piece on Plentyoffish.com. I have been able to view local dates, but when I attempt to register, more than 25 times, I haven’t accomplished the task, it just returns to the 2nd page for me to type in my personal info again and again. How do I contact the owner and get registered so I can find someone to date locally? It sounds like a great offer and others have already registered, so why can’t I???

    Tuned in with coffee in hand this morning to find TOM DELAY???????
    What are you thinking, this guy has been INDICTED. There are very credable political commentators around who do have, at the very least,
    an aura of ethics, judgement, and taste.whic Mr. Delay specifically does not pocesss. I grew up with Today, but am not watching as much as you become more and more light weight. Substance is not a bad thing.

    Hello:
    I just want to say that the Todays show is promoting bad service when yu humor the cruise line or the airlines by running a “vote” for who you think
    got the raw deal…between the fly train car truo, the cruise line and whatever else the public is voting for…
    Please be aware you are only supporting this kind of service. When a customer schedules a trip (regardless of what carrier it is) they should get a full refund or a new fully paid trip, not a 10% discount on another ticket or
    the Todays show giving away a trip to the one who gets the most votes.
    I think this is a big mistake and is irrevocably disgusting bureaucracy
    of the todays show.
    Secondly, I wish someone would talk to Ann Curry about her personality.
    first she has to get her hair combed.(looked like for years she just go out of bed and came to the studio.) secondly she had to be dressed and
    now she tries to be funny and “is not funny at all.” I refuse to
    stay in the room when she is on. I find I click the channel to another new show or something else. Ann Curry (sp) is not a news person or does not show for television. Please do something. I thought you could have chosen a better person to replace Katie C. Meredith T is not the person to replace Katie. He dress is terrible. Her picking at Matt is disgusting. I am short of making a decision to STOP watching the Today’s show.
    PLEASE DO SOMETHING TO MAKE THIS TV NEWS SHOW COME ALIVE.
    Al Rooker is the very best. If he goes I go if I can hang in!
    My disclaimer: I am not trying to be harsh at any one person but over the years I have hung tight with todays show and it is changing a lighting speed. I can’t say I would vote to keep it on the air.
    Since when did a TV News show step in and have the public VOTE on BAD
    (at best) service? Are you going to take a public vote on all “bad” service
    that people in the general public encounters?
    I think this is a slap in the face to support the cruise lines and the airlines and anyone who gives bad service. All these people should have received a refund. I encourage the todays show to help them get a refund instead of promoting the bad service by giving away a trip. I am very disappointed with your actions and refuse to vote on such a scam as this.

    Also, I would like to add, Meridith is a long awaited breath of fresh air–Kaite who??? Now it’s time to find a replacement for Matt, my vote is for David the correspondent from DC. He’s smart, witty, and nice to look at.

    Re air travel horror story. Two years ago my son, daughter and I flew Independence Air to Las Vegas. My son and I were booked to leave Charleston, WV. Our return flight from D.C. to Charleston was canceled so we drove to Columbia, SC and flew out with my daughter. We arrived at the airport at 4:30 a.m. to catch a 6 a.m. flight. All was well until we got on the plane. We sat at the gate for over an hour. They finally decided that the plane had a serious problem. We were transferred to another plane which had been available all along. We finally got to D.C. at 9 a.m. Our plane to Vegas left 5 minutes before we arrived at our departure gate. The next plane out was at 9 p.m. 12 hours in an airport! We boarded to plane in a thunder storm and had to wait that out, about 1 1/2 hours. During the flight a teenager traveling alone had a panic attack. We diverted to Albuquerque, NM, and she was taken to the hospital. A doctor on board had attended the girl and used the oxygen on her. It is illegal to fly without the emergency oxygen tank so it had to be refilled. Albuquerque was not a hub for Independence. To add to the problem, it was closed for the night. So we sat and waited for it to open so we could get oxygen and so a nice lady who had gone to the hospital with the girl could get through security and reboard the plane. When the mother was contacted she said the girl was faking but, of course, the airline could not make that call. In the meantime, a working dog who was lying across the aisle from us got a really bad case of gas. We arrived in Las Vegas 29 1/2 hours after we had left Columbia.

    I really appreciated today’s show on multiple myeloma. I have been diagonosed with mm and found your piece on Geraldine Ferro (sp?) hopeful. What drug(s) does she get 2 x’s a week to help her stay in remission and at what hospital does she receive treatment? Thanks

    The Today Show constantly states that it is a FAMILY show. Why, then, is there a singer who continuously grabs his crotch? Can’t you censor the guests? This vulgar behavior should not be on a “Family” show early in the morning
