Harry Potter was protected from Voldemort because his mother sacrificed herself, giving Harry the protection of love. There for, Voldemort could not touch him untill the fourth book.

Harry was protected by the magic of a mother’s love, shown by her protection of Harry to her own end when Voldemort attacked her and Harry’s father. Dumbledore clarifies this later in the storyline, when Harry asks why he’s still alive. This overwhelming love is also the reason that Harry can “see” his parents and others that he loves, even after their deaths, and allows them to continue to help him on rare/intense occassions. I can’t help but wonder if this will also come to play in the last book…….

On many TODAY shows only ONE side of a story is presented. Today, June 13th Sen. Graham R. (SC) was ‘on’ almost unfettered for about 10 minutes, extolling the ‘benefits’ of the Immigration Bill.
I think an opposing view should have equal access to viewers of your show. Sen. Sessions R. (AL) and/or Sen. McCaskill D. (MO), would be able to meet that challenge. I hope TODAY can interview them.
When the TODAY host interviews someone from the White House, I know that whatever is said cannot be challenged because that is their view on things.

Dear Today Show Cast,
I recently watched a segment in which Barbara Concoran helped struggling homeowners sell their homes. I watched this segment intensely since I too need to sell my home in Jupiter Florida. I am originally from Long Island and want desperately to return there with my husband and three kids. We bought a fairly expensive ( way to expensive for us) home in order to flip. Well the market turned, and I feel stuck here, dying to go home. My house is a model that looks like a lot of others in my area. I thought it might make for a good segment on your show to have Ms. Concoran come to my neighborhood and show everyone how to take a rather ordinary model home and turn it into something that will sell. I know everyone in Florida and around the country in similar neighborhoods and circumstances would greatly appreciate it. Please pass this e-mail on to her.
Yours truly,
Melissa Martin

Hi Today Show,
Just want to start out with I love your show. When I am working, I have to leave just before you come on. But I listen to your show on the radio, as I drive to work. I teach, so I can watch over summer break.
I was watching today and I saw your segment on friends. I have a group of friends I want to tell you about. There are nine of us. We have grown through the years. I meet Ginny and Suzie when I entered Kindergarten. We were 5 and the year was 1955. In another elementary school across town, Pam and Kathie were becoming friends. When I was in 3rd Grade, I meet Kathie. We were Brownie Scouts together. In 7th grade, I meet Ronnie in junior high. In 9th Grade, I renewed my friendship with Kathie and Pam and Patti became friends. In 11th grade, Betsy moved to our town and immediately fit in. After high school graduation, we all went in different directions. Betsy, Ginny, Patti and Ronnie went to Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a university in our town. Kathie and I went to Penn State. Suzie and Pam went to Hagerstown Medical Secretarial School. But on breaks, we all got together. Suzie and Pam met Marge at Hagerstown. On breaks, she joined us. We all made Marge an honorary graduate from our high school and wanted her to attend our high school reunions. She never did. After college graduation, we again went in different directions. But we would see each other when we returned to our hometown. And we tried to be there at the same time. Many years have flown by. Through those years, we tried to see each other as much as possible. Through those years, there were babies, graduate school, relocations, deaths of a grandma, grandpa, parent or sibling and divorce. We always knew our friends were there for us. If you lived in Pennsylvania, you saw more of each other. There was always the Christmas shopping day in Pittsburgh, birthday celebrations and craft days. When we turned 40, we all got together in Florida for a long weekend. When we turned 45, we rented a house on the North Carolina coast. Our sponses were invited to this get together. Then the Christmas shopping day turned into a long weekend. And soon after, we started a yearly trip to Orlano, Fl. Everyone tries to attend all these events. Also, some of us travel together in the summer. (Two years ago, we were in the crowd at your show.) My friendship with these 8 woman is so important to me. I cherish the time we spend together. We email all the time and of course call each other. It started in 1955. This year we are all turning 57. We celebrated in Orlando this year. Since we are from the western Pennsylvania area, we all got Heinz 57 keychains, pens, etc. I am blessed to have 8 friends, who are so much a part of my life. They are my “friend” family.
