    i am responding to the friday morning segment about the man that goes to fallen soldiers home towns to put up a memorial. my nephew(cpl.troy linden) was killed last july and we live in rural minnesota and troy was the only boy killed from detroit lakes. we, his family i know would very much participate in such an awesome gift and i would love to help this gentleman with any kind of fund raisers to help him with his work, for we have lost 2 other soldiers in neighboring communitees as well, and our family meets with other families and go to funerals of the recent fallen and even as hard as it is, we know we must pay it forward for we so appreciated the family and friends of our community that showed their love and concern for us. just last april we all pooled togather and had buttons made for the family of sgt greg reiwer that was from our neigboring town of frazee. we knew how much the buttons meant to us, so we knew this would help them as well. so i think this memorial would be so perfect and i would love to learn more about it.

    Can you let me know the name of the author and the book title in the series that the kids and Al discussed during the book club segment Friday June 15? I think this is a wonderful segment and it is a great way to have kids exploring new genres and authors.
    If you can add a link to show the books discussed, authors names and background, and a place for kids to write reviews this would let those who missed the show catch up on the titles and read them too. Also, it would give kids the opportunity to think deep about what they have read by allowing them the space to write about the characters and plots and their opinions on the books read.

    I think that was put in jail for consenual sex was out of line. where is the girl? Was she sent to jail also? If everyone that had sex as a under age person. the jails and prisons would be full and over crouded. The boy is balck and there fore as usual, got the maxium sentence. I think he should be released, should of not been put in jail in the first place. They would have to build new jails to put all those people in that sex as a teen.

    Was I the only one who was slightly offended by Matt’s comment this morning to Enrique Iglesias? When Enrique mentioned that Ana “puts up with a lot from him”, Matt said somthing about it being the “latin blood” in him? I’m not even Latino, and I ADORE Matt Laurer, but I think that was a slightly racist comment? Anyone???

    would like to get e-mail or web site for the father of fallen soldiers,father honoring his son. My grandkids lost thier father may 4 2001. here in fairbanks alaska. may god bless all our familys.
