his rmarks represented what is in his heart. his comments today were only to justify his remarks as a comedic mistake or that it is ok because the music industry uses these comments in hip hop and rap and the black community has said the same comments toward their own people.  enough of the excuses. Imus needs to have serious consequences to his actions. he can apologize all day long i for one do not believe him. 2 weeks suspension as as he admitted a s”slap on the wrist” IMO he should be fired.Â

GREAT JOB Meredith with Jessie Jackson interview…Phew….on your first day back from vacation no less…..I noticed that Al, when it switched over to him, was very somber…so not him. You were great with your questions and comments…..no ONE could have done it better………

Why are we using this man as an example for all black people to defame. What about all the black singers and rappers who use this language against their own women and people and are paid hugh money for their songs and are heard around the world, why aren’t these people targeting them also and bringing them on tv and defaming them for what they say. It seems that this is just another reason to go after us for something we are trying to fix at least here in our state. These people who come on and think they have all the answers need to think about what they are doing to the world with what they say. They are promoting more hate and violance then what Imus said. When is it going to stop. Thank you

I think Rev Al Sharpen should take care of his own “people”..I can’t believe how him being a man of God leashing out at Don Imus, at lease Mr.Imus is helping millions of people, mostly children..
Mr. Sharpen you go take care of YOUR people..

It is interesting that Al Sharpen and Jackson are so hypocritical. Non-Black people are damned if they do and damned if they dont. Complements are seen as condicending racist - we cant win- no wonder there is racial tension.
Sharpen and Jackson earn a living off the tension- where would they be if they werent blaming or claiming injustice on behalf of ‘his people’- they feed off this type of event and therefore feeds the hatred of reverse discrimination. Sharpen and Jackson need to work harder at what a Reverends are supposed to do- teach unconditional love and forgiveness rather than preaching unforgiving hate and continued racism.
The media should leave this issue alone and stop replaying and replaying the discusting remarks. While insensitive to all women, the comments were not racist. What happened to freedom of speech? not to mention a sense of humor?

Must be nice to walk on water Al and Jesse- Hope you hold youselves and ‘your people’ to the same standards.

i am appuled at how the media is hanging “IMUS” out to dry. I’m going to get graphic “cause Chappall,Chris Rock,&any other “black”American who claims “All FAIR IN COMEDY”. Well blacks listen up, YOU do not have the “RIGHT” to call me Honkey,Cracker, white toast or any other racist remark Without Being HELD Accountable any more. I as a White American am through being bounced on & made to feel ashamed for what all our for fathers “yes” Black & White have done. After all was’nt it Your Tribes that sold to the traders? How about Chappell’ s skit where he comes up to “LITTLE WHITE KIDS” and tells them that their “white parents’ have DIED!!!! Where is the “HUMOR”??? Did he get reamed? “NO” I”LL not feel ashamed to use “THE WORD” any more “cause when i do IT will mean exactly AS it states in Webster. Till then watch how u use the words HONKY,& CRACKER.

People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. Who is Al Roker to judge another man-I lost my respect for him yesterday.
Big deal made out of something that should have been settled between Imus and the Rutgers team.
